3D Scanning is a popular technology which is widely used in various fields like reverse engineering, construction industry, design process, entertainment, law enforcement, cultural heritage, etc.
Accuracy of 3D scan data should be carefully checked, so Alex Zavorotinskiy our QA CAD Software Engineer, will tell about testing of 3D scan data conversion. He will review testing of applications working with:
-different types of models/data received from 3D scanner;
— editing and converting the received models;
— creating a CAD model.
